The Rotary Club of Sacramento is offering a pre-convention tour that includes Sydney and Cairns along with the convention in Melbourne,
May 19-June 1, 2023.
Sydney is a stunning and vibrant city of Sydney built around one of the most beautiful bays in the world. It is the largest
and most populous city in Australia and the state capital of New South Wales. Once a British colony of exiled convicts, Sydney has grown
into Australia's most diverse and cosmopolitan city with an exciting food, arts and entertainment scene.
Followed by a visit to Cairns and the incredible Great Barrier Reef! Did you know it is the world's largest coral reef system and is
composed of over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands stretching for over 1,600 milies over an area of approximately 133,000 sq. mi.
and can be seen from outer space? It is world's biggest single structure made by living organisms. Enjoy a tour into the rainforests of
Queensland that includes a ride on a bus, train and cablecar.
And we cannot forget Australia's financial and cultural center — MELBOURNE which is reminiscent of European cities with its
tree-lined avenues and colorful trams
